Those must have been before my time. I've began lurking on themat around this time last year.

On the 719 blog, CAP refers to cobra as Pete mostly, and he makes racial insults such as wetback, beaner, gardener, (even though CAP is Latino and a gardener himself) and other comments directed towards Pete's lifestyle. I didn't witness a whole lot of name calling to Pete but I tuned in late in the saga.

DH pretty much owns at everything. Sticking "Jackson New Jersey" as the location, and apparently CAP's name was a nice touch though even in conjunction with the Vegas IP.

Its a fake CAP, and it was really an amateurish attempt too, not even a fake email to at least make me run a User by user IP check.

It seems that some here just don't realize that the technology we run this forum on isn't from 1973.

I did, and I'm actually going to go ahead and upgrade the attempt from extremely amateurish, to mildly amateurish.

The post from the supposed "CAP" came from a Vegas IP, but the IP that it came from has only ever accessed this forum to make that one post.

The email though, just gave it away.

Can you tell if it was a hotel in Las Vegas? Because that could be anyone from anywhere.

You might be right. I expect CAP to arrive, but maybe he hasn't arrived yet.

The email address that the fake CAP registered with points towards an already existing member of the board pretty conclusively.
