    Danielle,

I grew up in Aurora which is the next town west of Naperville, depending on where you live, you might actually be in Aurora with a Naperville address.

I'm sure you know your way around, but if you need any pointers or suggestions let me know.

I'm in Minneapolis now, but I get down there every few months, Family is still there, so if I can be of any assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

    Mike

PS, don't forget to eat at any of the number of Portillo's restaurants in the metro area.

Anyways, I move into my new apartment in Naperville tomorrow. Can't wait! I have liked living in NYC, but I'm definitely ready for a change.
Chicago is a great city, it could be a bit of a hassle if you are coming from a suburb on the weekends and looking to hit the bars. You have to find a place to crash or find someone who is willing to drive. Either way Chicago has plenty to offer, you picked a great time to come with all the great festivals and concerts now underway.

I get to Chicago for sports and music 6 or 7 times a year. I only eat hotdogs once a year, and it is always at Portillo's.

Yum. Portillo's. It's actually a special treat for me, too, since I live in the city. Besides the downtown location, Portillo's are all suburban.

They are totally suburban, But they are so good. I always say that the thing I miss most about Chicagoland is the food.

Zappa, remember, you can get it overnighted to you. If you haven't tried it yet, the Italian Beef is fantastic (Sorry for the plagarism Blue). Seriously, Morbidly obese fantastic.

Mmmm. Italian Beef. My favorite beef place is Johnnie's in Elmwood Park. The food in Chicago is fantastic. At one of my many summer jobs, I met a guy who had been a truck driver for various bands in the 80's and 90's. He said he had been everywhere in the world, and eaten everywhere. He said that Chicago was still the best food in the world.

I've been to Johnnie's. It's good, but it can't compare with the methodone old Dick and Gina put into their juice.

If you get a chance, try to catch a show by the Trinity Academy of Irish Dance. They're amazing.

I'm awaiting a special show by the Stardust Academy of Dance.
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.
