Is anyone else watching softball? Tennessee is just awesome. Actually, I know that their pitcher, Monica Abbott, is awesome. She's been striking every one out , so I can't say much about the their defense. Makes me think of the line from Bull Durham: "Throw grounders. Strikeouts are fascist."

But the other really cool thing is how supportive the Tenn. athletic department is. Pat Summit and Phil Fulmer are both there (granted, Fulmer's daughter is on the team.) Earlier this year, Bruce Perl and Pat Summit showed Volunteer spirit at each other's games. Earlier this week, Peyton Manning called Abbott to say good luck. It seems like a cool environment.
