The Happening
M Night Shamalamadingdong has a new movie coming out, "The Happening." It looks slightly interesting, but I'm wary of any of his movies after watching "The Village" and burning my eyes out.
Anybody hear any buzz on the film?
You do the math..... I'll do the alfredo!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Re: The Happening
I've been seeing the trailer for this movie here and there. Shamalan's movies aren't on the top of my list either but it seems interesting, especially how they're gonna explain the supernatural cause of 'the happening.' Just my 2 cents.

Re: The Happening
I think each movie he's made has been a little worse than the one before.
RIP Jacob Schlottke 1984-2011

Re: The Happening
Aftert the Sixth Sense, everything Shyamalan has done has looked great in the promos and failed to deliver. Okay, Signs wasn't too, too bad. I don't have great expectations for The Happening, but hopefully it will be better than it's 1967 namesake.

The Lady In The Water made me lose all faith that mankind could do good in this world.
Had to get that off my chest.

Re: The Happening
I liked Unbreakable and Signs. Village sucked, Lady of the Water wsa disgusting, and I've never seen Sixth Sense.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

You must see The Sixth Sense - unless you already know the ending.

Which is why I've never seen it. It came out while I was in high school, and some d-bag in my class ruined the ending for the entire class, me included. So I've never watched it. I tried once, and it was so frustrating because I knew.

If you were an old guy like me, you wouldn't remember what he said and you'd be able to enjoy it.
Actually, even knowing the ending, you would enjoy watching it because you would appreciate the clever ways the story doesn't give away the ending. When it first came out, Roger Ebert gave it a rave review and said that when it ended, he wanted to go right back and watch it again for that reason.
