    Default Beijing "Birds Nest"

    ..more commonly known as Beijing National Stadium, built for the Olympics. It was quite a feat of engineering design and construction. By the way, the architects....from the west. The roof covering is trasnparent allowing sunlight and night lights to shine through. It also has a retractable dome.
