    Well, boys and girls,

    He was registered and I had a "bib" number, but no results show. It could be that the training was too tough on the legs (wouldn't be the first runner that happened to)....sigh.

    Ah well.

    Well, if you're injured, it's not the time to run a marathon. Better to be healthy than hurt. There will be other marathons, I'm sure.

    To be sure.

    My son's old coach ran it and he's 53 (by no means the oldest runner), so there's lots of time if it's in the blood.
