Which of my statistics are misleading, Big? This I'd like to read.
Anyway, here in Russia, I pay 26 rubles/liter for gas. That would be roughly 99 rubles to the gallon. The ruble is at about 23.5 to the dollar. So, gas is about $4.21 a gallon here by my calculations.
Very few people in Vladivostok use mopeds or motorcycles because of the weather and the state of the roads (state=awful). Most people who can afford cars here have SUVs, which aren't exactly famous for great gas mileage.
