Come on! What about Frosted Flakes? Where's those CoCo Puffs lovers?

Best "adult" has got to be regular Cheerioes with sliced bananna in it.

p.s. I remember the old Yule Gibbons ads.

Frosted Flakes is good stuff but I get tired of it before the box runs out.

Coco Puffs is cool as long as you have that chocolate milk to drink at the end.
I prefer my bananas in Corn Flakes. Cheerios alway got soggy to fast.

As a kid snap crackle and pop was almost worth the substandard cereal. Later on I learned that a couple of table spoons of sugar helped that out.

The Captain in Captain Crunch was cool. Nowadays it has to have berries in it.

Who here has not picked out the marshmellow parts of Lucky Charms? Be honest now.

The Flinstones cereal was cool like coco puffs were.... the milk at the end.

Is there anybody over 40 who didn't play with alphabits, then not eat the soggy cereal?

Fruit loops is a poor mans Apple Jacks.

Puffed wheat is the absolutely best cereal for ridiculous amounts of sugar added. That last spoonful of the wheat taste, mixed in with a touch of milk and that sugar mush is the best.

Has anybody NOT ever eaten all the raisins out of raisin bran and then skipped the mush left over?

Sugar Puffs was my original favorite. I don't think they sell it under that name anymore but the bear in the commercial was cool.

Is there anybody here who didn't think that Rabbit shouldn't have gotten his Tricks? That was an all-time great add campaign that sold a cereal that sucked.

What the heck.... it would appear that cereal is almost a cultural experience. Or I am just crazy and am the only one with these kinds of cereal memories

When I was a kid, there was a cereal called Raisin Nut Bran, and the raisins were coated in something, it looked like cookie dough in ice cream. Anyway I hated raisins (still do) but all I ate was those raisins because whatever they were coated in was awesome.

I totally think cereal is a cultural expereince, we were all brainwashed as children with the marketing campaigns that aired as we ate our cereal during morning cartoons.

Story I think is funny...so one of my current roomates eates everything special K (cereal, waffles, bars, drinks)...totally hooked right into their marketing campagin that it will help her lose weight My other roomate and I crack up over it all the time, obviously if you only eat cereal you will be low on calories and lose weight...plus if you look at the nutritional info it is basically void of nutriets...you want to eat cereal to lose weight try all bran or oatmeal, something with fiber and low sugars!

My other roomate and I are fans of the beer diet...beer for breakfast, beer for lunch, and beer WITH a sensible dinner...at the end of the day its probably the same or lower on calories than her special K!

For the last 30 years,

Alphabits!

And only alphabits. I wouldn't do a whole box in a sitting, but a half box could go.

Prior to that was frosted flakes.

Prior to that was cherrios or rice krispies with lots of sugar and banana slices.

Cinamon life - actually anything with cinamon.

I like oatmeal as well. Lately though Fiber One Honey Oat Clusters is yummy!
