when i was in germany. i had a chance to go to a couple of these places . it was pretty cool. they had one rule and that was you could not get a erection or you was throwed out. it really wasn't a problem i thought it would be because you would have this 18 year old knockout and right next to her was her 65 year old grandma . i had blast the few times i went.
When I was around 20 or so, I went to this nude beach near San Diego once or twice with some friends. I nearly drowned in a rip tide and that kind of dampened my interest I suppose in going back.
There's a guy in Des Moines who walks around bare foot all the time, even in cold weather. I was sitting in front of a Quick Rip (convenience store) one time and noticed him barefoot, and it was 30 something degrees out. Anyway, later read a newspaper account of the guy and it turns out he's also a big-time nudist. He sits around his house nude and drives nude.
Apparently this kind of thing used to be very popular, as I hear there was a TV series with the line: "There are eight million stories in the Naked City. This has been one of them."
I've been to a few nudist resorts (not lately, but I had a girlfriend who was into it), and they all have very strict rules against public displays of affection (not erection, affection). Also, I can tell you that after the first ten minutes it's no big deal (no pun, please). The people you see are just like the average people you'd see walking down the street - some you'd turn to look at and some you'd turn away from. You do see a lot of tatoos and piercings, and the people are very friendly and accepting. One I went to was pretty classy and high priced, and it showed in the quality of the boob jobs.
I get it. A slippery slope. [enter Danny Kaye] Displays of affection could lead to an erection, could lead to an infection, which is why there's the direction, that there be no affection.
Okay, I've heard the rules, now, what are common activities at these places. Just sit around and talk? Play cards? Drink?

Appreciated the Danny Kaye reference .
Just like any resort: tennis, swimming, volleyball (the classic), hot tub, party in the evening, lots of drinking but no unruly behavior. A popular game is petanque - it's like bocce.
