    Why I enjoy lifting weights can be summarized by Joseph Schumpeter's definition of entrepreneur who Schumpeter claims often gets much less than he deserves for his innovations (an entrepreneur is in this case the person that created something but others profited from the creation by imitating it):

    "Why, then, does the entrepreneur carry out his precarious, often thankless task? First, says Schumpeter, there is the dream and the will to found a private kingdom, usually, although not necessarily, also a dynasty.........Then, there is the will to conquer: the impulse to fight, to prove oneself superior to others, to succeed for the sake, not of the fruits of success, but of success itself.....Finally, there is the joy of creating, of getting things done, or simply of exercising one's energy or imagination."
