    Default Go Cubs!!

They open the season today at the Reds. With Zombrano on the mound they have a good shot. Hopefully Soriano wont strike out every at bat. This will be an interesting season with Prior and Wood both not in the starting rotation. Wood should never return to the starting rotation they should bring him out of the bullpen as a closer or middle relief.

Last week WGN had a funny parody song "Wood and Prior" set to the song "Love and Marriage". There was one verse that went "Wood and Prior, Wood and Prior, held together with some tape and wire..."

    We'll see. Go Cubs.

    That's funny, Bonnie.

    Ah, Cub fans. Perpetual optimists.

    Cubs blow, go Dodgers!

    Whammy!
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

There will be no white sox cheering in a Cubs thread.

Champ tell me how good the dodgers are when they get swept by the Rockies.

Ugh, yesterday's game was ugly (no pun intended) but they looked great on Friday and Saturday. Home opener today-this is the first opening day in two years that I haven't lived in walking distance of Wrigley. I miss the noise, but not the traffic.

The starting pitching needs to get a little better. The central looks weaker than usual this year so there is a chance.
