Trusty the tommyknocker cocoa has a terrible after taste imo so I cant drink it anymore.

But I had a few Molson Canadians this evening.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of many of the Tommyknocker brews, Maple Brown is about the only one.

Have you had Moose Drool from Montana? Pretty good stuff.

    That is redundant.

Stone Brewing Co. has a nice ale. Any suggestions as to who on the board would find it appropriate?

    Nicely done Mr. Richardson....hahaha

    BTW, speaking of chocolate stouts.

A favorite of mine when I can find it in a draught can is Young's Double Chocolate stout. When I'm in the mood for dessert in a can, that's my favorite.

I'll second all of those who have sung the merits of Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. It's hard to find a bar that has it on draught, but it's more than worth it. There's a brew pub here in Columbus (Barley's) that makes an oatmeal stout that's right up there. They only have it seasonally, so I usually go with their Russian Imperial if they don't have the oatmeal.

I forgot about one that I loved when I was in Missouri - Boulevard from Kansas City.

Dogsfish Head 90 minute IPA is a favorite, also like their India Brown. Recently had a Old Rasputin Russian Imperial stout from North Coast. Very, very tasty.
