    Information Beer

We can always use a Beer thread

Recently went to a resturaunt called the Chop House and they had a Munich Lager that was very good had a semi-sweet after taste.

On a sour note a local pub I occasionaly visit stopped serving Fat Tire and replaced it with Levity by Odells. I was not impressed at all, and thats a hard style of Ale to mess up.

What kind of ale did they mess up? I've never heard of Levity. How can a pub not serve Fat Tire? I mean, that's the king of beers (not being facetious) in Colo., no?

Its an Amber Ale and was just not as good as Fat Tire. And yes Fat Tire should be served in all pubs in CO since it is made here. The same pub also stopped serving Breckenridge Avalanche ale which is a great beer. I might have to stop going to this pub now that I think about it.

Fat Tire and Avalanche are both great beers. Colorado is the place to be for beer drinkers.

I am looking forward to some trips to local micro breweries this summer... but I still keep with the old favorite out here in PA Yuengling Lager.

Anybody here like Fat Squirrel? It is made by the New Glarus Brewing Company.

I am also a fan of the coffee stout.

I was feeling some PA nostalgia the other day and picked up some Yuengling. When I closed my eyes and took a sip I could almost feel the snow
