Flop The Nuts

Two bits of bad news for guitar fans came out over the weekend.

Van Halen has cancelled (or suspended) their tour, as Eddie VH is again in rehab.

Jeff Healey passed away at the age of 41, from cancer. I don't know if any of you have ever heard of Jeff Healey, but his style was a bit similar to Stevie Ray Vaughn or Joe Bonamassa. The primary difference is that Jeff was blind, and played sitting down, with the guitar flat on his lap.

Wow, Jeff Healy dead. I love his work. His re-make of My guitar gently weeps is incredible. Not to mention his role in Roadhouse.
