    Default HD or Blu-ray ?

No longer a question. Blu-ray just got Beta'd.

BestBuy and Wal Mart just pulled the plug on Toshiba HD and will only sell Blu-Ray players and DVDs.

Betcha both just cut sweet incentive deals with the Blu-ray folks.

Blu-ray won't be king for long. Some new technology is in the works that can store something like 10 or more times the data on a Blue-ray disk.

I bought a PS3 so I can play blue ray discs but I haven't even tried them yet. I have digital cable t.v. and HD channels I watch on a HD screen so I just haven't bothered to buy any blue-rays discs yet.

Toshiba pulls the plug and will immediately exit the HD market. Blu-ray it is.

There's going to be a dump of HD player products, don't be tempted.
