They didn't stop him because they were busy stopping the real threats... Moss, Moroney, Gaffney.

What did all those short passes to Welker accomplish? No much in the end.

One bomb to Moss means a lot more that 11 short passes to Welker.

I think the Giants look like geniuses for the way the defended NE's weapons.

    Welkler was their weakest weapon.

If they're not stopping Welker...he is the threat. He caught 4 passes on the drive to get their TD in the 4th.
You do the math..... I'll do the alfredo!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

If that award means anything, other than Fox's ability to pick a celebrity to pump up their shallow coverage, it should have gone to the defense. They could have found someone. Hell, Tuck had like 2 sacks and 6 tackles in the first half, didn't he?

Take nothing away from Manning. He did a good job. But the main reason they won that game was their defensive line.

They won the game because of BOTH. The defense didn't score any points and they gave up 14. The defense did their job and Eli did his. Eli did his best work in the money quarter and he was therefore the MVP. If the game had ended at 10-7 Giants, Eli would not have won. But 2 TD passes, including the defining play of the game, wins the award.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.
