Theres a thread about that in the Miscellaneous forum here. I personally hate it. Others seem to feel differently.

Here's the thread for the Old Spice commercial, which you can view in this forum, along with the varied opinions on the commercial, and background on one of the actors who was a Maryland HS state champ in real life (among other achievements).

The show was "It's About Time," and starred Frank Aletter (not Sid Caesar) and Imogene Coca. Cavemen have a long and proud history in entertainment, and I'm privileged to have known a few personally.

Talk about ear worms. I remember this school age ditty:
    It's about time
    It's about space
It's about time I hit you in the face

I think the show was quite forgettable. But the melody lingers on. Ugh! (no reference to cavemen intended)

I only saw in once, but thought it was well done. They're in the position, and the question is asked at an inappropriate time, and the ref kind of raises his eyebrows, like "oh?". So there's some semblance of humor (and not the stupid stuff you see in so many commercials). But if I saw it a bunch of times, I might get sick of it.

I looked up "It's About Time" on the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com) and discovered...
    > The show premiered in September 1966
    > It ran one entire season, 26 episodes
    > It was created by Sherwood Schwartz, the man who gave us "Gilligan's Island"

    To learn more: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059997/

Sherwood also gave us "The Brady Bunch"
