It's actually a pretty good story of how the cuffed pants started. Back when he started college football coaches didn't make nearly as much as they do now. He didn't have very many pairs of pants and couldn't afford to dry clean them all of the time. So that he could wear the same pair of pants to take his wife to dinner after the game, Coach Paterno would roll his pants up to keep the cuffs clean.
I love the glasses. Same frames maybe, but those lenses have gotten quite a bit thicker. Wow!!!

The pants he wore this season are the same pants he started wearing in 1989. Talk about superstitions.
