I LOVE Better Off Dead, but I don't think of it as a Christmas movie. Christmas occurs in it, but it's not a central part of the plot.

The Day they Saved Christmas - an incredibly cheesy 80's movie about how they save the north pole from being destroyed by drilling for oil. Santa shows them where the oil actually is!

Same can be said for Die Hard or Home Alone but, I see your point. Better of dead has a ton of chrsitmas stuff in it.
