Alec Baldwin's rant to his daughter
LOS ANGELES - The festering bad blood between movie-star exes Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger erupted Thursday when an angry phone message from Baldwin to his daughter was made public.
On the recording, Baldwin can be heard admonishing his 11-year-old, Ireland: ?You are a rude, thoughtless little pig.?
?You don?t have the brains or the decency as a human being,? he says, apparently upset that she did not answer her phone for a planned call.
?I don?t give a damn that you?re 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you?re a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn?t care about what you do as far as I?m concerned. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone.?
The feud between movie-star exes Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger flared up Thursday, April 19, when an angry phone message from Baldwin to daughter Ireland, seen with him in 2005, was made public.
He goes on to say that he plans to fly from New York to Los Angeles ?for the day just to straighten you out on this issue.?
There's more if you go to the link (if you care).
Much ado about nothing? My take is it just shows that celebrities are people like you and me and can lose their tempers. It also tells me that Kim Bassinger is probably a royal b**ch for releasing this private conversation.

"Love never dies." The Beatles
Perhaps his long-lost twin brother Old Shamrock can shed some light on this?
He's apparently "most saddened" that this made it out in the open.
I cannot believe his ex-wife sent the tape to the media. It makes her look more vindictive and petty than him.
The daughter will be completely dysfunctional as an adult.
It is clear Baldwin has grandiosity complex. Just look at his roles in the movies.
He was great in "The Hunt for Red October" wasn't he?
I dislike the guy on a personal level, but his role in The Departed was great. The scene where he is at the golf range with Matt Damon talking about marriage was one of the best in the movie.
"Yeah, it's working...Overtime!"
Grandiosity is a good thing in terms of setting high expectations and achieving great things. Its just that the other side of it is a person feels he is the second coming and expects to be treated as such.
