You got it Floggin. Floating the credit is a barrier to your cash that a debit card doesn't enjoy and all of the CC companies offer fraud protection.

By the way, I heard this AM that the big banks are dropping credit rating scores for determing the interest rate on a loan. If you qualify, the rate will be same for all. Hige movement that the process has been discriminatory and the banks could be facing a HUGE class action suit that if lost could mean billions to them.

Whatever. I was trying to help people by passing on what my sister learned through her bad experience, and you called her out, and said she should have been carrying cash around. No one was crying about it.

My anti-theft method of late is to be underemployed and dead broke, so that even if my bank account info is stolen, the thieves will be hard pressed to buy a case of Old Milwaukee at the Kum & Go before it is tapped out. I'm not saying it's a method that would work for everyone, though.
