    Agreed.

The defense has had to look at, and hear, reminders of that debacle for a year. I'd be more than happy to see TOSU considered the underdog and undeserving. A replay of the situation predeeding the Miami national championship game in 2002.

I would like to see them win it also. Especially after Michigan got embarassed by App state. I mean I was loving that but it didn't look good on the Big 10...

Why isn't it Ohio State v. Oklahoma (each w/one loss) in the natl championship? No question LSU is a great team but they have two losses.

Is the natl championship game called the national championship, or is there a bowl attached to it? (it seems there used to be)

The only other one loss team is Kansas. The undefeated team is Hawaii.

I think the national championship was originally one of the four major bowls and it was supposed to rotate (I think) and then it changed and a bowl was added for that game.

I was mistaken about Okla. and see they have two losses.

I think LSU is overrated. They have been ranked number one twice, and lost and they almost lost a 3rd game. I don't know why people love them so much...

It is highly improbable the computer will alter the Coaches poll order significantly. USC may Virginia Tech. Hawai'i ranked no 10 will likely fall. The question is will they fall to 13, behind AZ St and West Virginia, and out of the BCS picture.
As it looks right now West Virgina (11) is an automatic qualifier. Missouri or Kansas, and Florida will not qualify for a BCS slot. since they will be No 3 from their respective conferences.

That leaves open the posssibility that AZ State and Boston College get chosen over Hawai'i for a BCS berth.

Anyone interested Hawai'i v USC in the Rose Bowl ?

Sure. Lets see if Hawaii can average 50 against SC.
