    Default Celebrity Christmas CDs

    Does anyone have a favorite?

    Mine is probably Jimmy Buffett.

    Jewel's is also very good.

I love Christmas music so it's hard to narrow it down to one... but among mainstream musicians, I really like Mariah Carey's.

I listen to a lot of Contemporary Christian music too, so among those artists I'd have to go with Amy Grant, Michael W Smith, and Steven Curtis Chapman.

oh and I almost forgot ---- my favorites as a kid - Alvin and the Chipmunks, and John Denver & the Muppets. I still have both of those original "albums"

"The Christmas Wish" from the Muppets one still makes me teary eyed

    BTW

    If anyone uses iTunes....

There are two free Christmas songs this week. (and probably 2 more each week until Christmas)

My favorite is a Muppets Album from the mid 70's that we rented from the library when the boys were little (not in the mid 70's). It was a hoot. There was a "night before Christmas" done in 1970's rap style. I bought a mint condition album on Ebay last spring for just a few bucks and I want to try to digitize it. I bought an adapter from Radio Shack, but I have to pull the receiver all the way out of the cabinet to do it. It's a project and I haven't found a night for it yet.

Has anybody here done this? Someone told me that I might need to bring it into GarageBand to separate it into tracks.

Also, The Count sings "All I Vant for Christmas is my TWO Front Teeth". I gotta do this sometime this week.

One of my favorite Christmas songs is Bing Crosby and David Bowie's version of Little Drummer Boy.
