Whenever I get an email or phone call from a company I do business with (bank, credit card, ebay, phone, etc.) asking for any information, I don't respond, but always call or email them back using a pre-existing address to ask if it's legit. It almost always is not.
I just ignore those thing.... most of them go to my bulk/spam file anyhow and most things in there get deleted or fall off.
