Are there any plans to upgrade the capacity of this site prior to the NCAA tournament? I get bounced from the site about 20% of the time now, and I'm thinking the site will be virtually shut down with the extra load during NCAA's. Not bitching, just asking.

We have been discussing getting this site on it's own VPS where it has more resources, but that is probably too risky to try during this season (good Summer / off-season activity). A lot of the issues are spambots attacking the server and slowing stuff down, nothing to do with the true activity of the site (which of course is growing).
I wouldn't say that it's down for hours but it's long enough that I go to another site instead of hitting refresh continually.
