I can't remember who it was, but I can't help but think of the time in a Major League Baseball game that a player charged the mound against Nolan Ryan, Nolan proceeded to give the boy a butt kicking.

This video is great though.

Yea that was Robin Ventura against Nolan Ryan. I've heard about the beatdown but have not yet seen video. Ventura got suspended and Ryan got off scot-free.

Okay so you hijacked me.

But, none of them come close to Juan Marichal clobbering Johnny Roseboro over the head with a bat in the summer of '65. Put a 2" split in his noggin.

I promise I didn't try to hijack you, it was the respect for elders theme I was trying to play into as I think that both the old hoss's and the old BB player teach those younguns something, something about respect. See it is on the same theme.
