Sailed across the ocean?
What is the most difficult task you've ever accomplished?
Making 147 in high school and 160 in college.
Atrophy: what you get when you win atournament.
My difficult task would be surfing a triple overhead wave (18 feet) at Sunset beach in Hawai'i. I'm more of a small wave surfer (don't really like being held under water for a minute by a wave..) but my brother talked me into it. (and would have been there to perform emergency procedures.. lol)
pulling off the Super 32.
Super 32 Challenge - October 26-27, 2013
"Good things happen when you wrestle for a full seven minutes." -- Jayson Ness, post-finals press conference
Physical: finishing my first triathalon. It wasn't all that long 1/2 mile swim, 32 mile bike (with a lot of elevation change) and then an 8 mile run. Either that or making 178 for an tough freestyle tournament. I got third and there were a total of 10 High School state titles (freestyle, greco and collegiate) in our 8 man bracket.
However the single toughest thing that I've ever done is write the eulogy for my son's funeral last year. I really wanted to deliver it as well but I didn't think that I was strong enough. He was born 11/25/07 and died 11 hours later 11/26/07.
Perhaps the toughest thing I have ever accomplished both mentally and physically was 100 mile march in 4 days full battle rattle. It was a memorial of the Bataan death march.
