That's horrible, Scott. I don't know where you have taken her, but if you haven't, you may want to think about taking her to a large academic research hospital. Many times they get the tough cases that are difficult for others to diagnose. This is far from my field, but I believe UCLA has a great neurology program, and may be close enough to get to easily. Good luck to you and her, I wish you both the best.

    Yeah, it is that bad.
I'm terribly sorry to hear this. My prayers go out to you both.

Thanks. Hopefully her situation comes out as good as yours did.
I am 49, bald, ugly, and don't own a single cool thing. Kids like me though.

    Scott, PM your contact info.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Sgallan, I am really sorry to hear about your daughter and I hope that she get's well. Although I do not know you or your daughter you will both be in my prayers.

If any good can come of this so far it is that you seem to have a lot of good friends on here that are more than willing to help and pray for you and your family. That is something special.

Scott - terrible news! If you seek medical attention in the LA area, I can give you a place to stay - won't be fancy but it's a roof and meals. We are about an hour from UCLA.
    Give Reni my best.
