I didn't get a chance to see the games but I was surprised to see Denmark beat the Dutch.

First 30 minutes was ALL Dutch, looked like they could have scored a few times. RVP was TERRIBLE.

Not to state the obvious, but Spain really seems to miss David Villa.

Italy played well, but Spain really didn't have much in the way of chances today.

I thought Spain looked pretty good the 2nd half. Thought they were slightly better towards the end, missed a few opportunities.

Of course Ballotelli had his baffling moment, ha.

Nice win by Portugal already today, Denmark rallied to tie it 2-2 but Portugal won it with a goal in the 86th.

RVP already denied on the door step 6 minutes into Germany v. Netherlands

Two smartly finished goals by Gomez (both brilliantly set up by Schweinsteiger) give Germany the 2-1 win.

RVP grabbed a late one for Holland.

Ronaldo finally awakening when wearing a Portugal shirt over (3 goals in the last two games) seemingly has Portugal through as the first semi finalist. They'll meet the winner of Spain v. France.

Immense effort by Petr Cech today to keep the game only 1-0
