Tommorow is the day - I go in for a total hip replacement. Of course I'm a little nervous because it's major surgery, but I'm looking forward to a spring with no pain when I can bicycle, kayak and walk along the beach with my wife.

Hope that it all goes well for you. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
Good luck Spider. I will be thinking good thoughts for you.
Good Luck Spider!
Thanks, guys. I don't know how soon I'll have access to a computer, but I'll check in ASAP.
My buddy had hip replacement and he can do all the things he could before. Yet, it did take more than a couple months for full recovery. Don't get discouraged if it does. And remember to be COMPLETELY honest with your therapist during recovery or you won't get the recovery you need. They may call you a dumbass for doing something you shouldn't have or trying something you weren't ready for, but tell them anyway. It is the only way to full recovery. And every single patient feels good enough at some point to push beyond what they tell you, so you aren't the only one that will do it. And best of luck to you!!
Thanks, Quinn. I'll be a good patient.
Good luck and heal quickly.
GL Spider! No surgery is fun but I hope it all goes well for you & you are back to that physical activity we all know you love... :)
