runner-up?
yeah ---sorry.
got my eye on the little Panther, but I doubt even he can handle the Navy option.
I just wish Lou Holtz would spit out the marbles that are in his mouth.
McKillop is No 41 and he just stuffed the Navy option.
Oh, the good McKillop ;)
If you guys don't mind me rambling....
Mckillop wrestled for Kiski Area HS.
Kiski had an awful wrestling program for years and years until the late 80's -early 90's when they hired a new coach, Chuck Tursky.
Since then they won something like 15 straight section team titles (+/- 10 teams per section) and won a few WPIAL championships.
Yet, they never had a state champion.
They always seem to be very deep and solid at every weight class, but they never have the elite wrestler.
I can't even name a D1 wrestler from Kiski. Ever. (Actual a kid named Tyler Orvac is a freshman this year at WVU, but it'll be interesting to see how he does there).
Yet, their team and program are tops in the area.
On the other hand, other schools in the area can't compete as a team against Kiski, but every so often they produce a super wrestler or two.
It's quite interesting to me.
