As I have mentioned before, I am a fan of classical - so most of what you guys put on here is really new to me. Some I find really enjoyable - some seems mostly like noise! (Although, for pure, or impure, noise, the absolute CRAP the prisoners at my institution listen to is the acme - or is it the depths?)
A couple of prisoners were questioning me about "old school" music - like the Rolling Stones - and I mentioned some groups. None of them had ever heard of ZZ Top, so I went home and YouTubed some and sent it to myself in an e-mail so I could play it on the computers at work (we are not allowed to bring ANY kind of electronic equipment into the facility). While doing so I ran across this cut. Many of you are much, much, much more informed than I as to what constitutes really good electric guitar - but this (pun intended) struck a chord with me:

Is this as good as I think it is?
If it sounds good to you then it is good.
ZZ Top writes some good riffs, it's hard to believe they played with Jimi Hendrix - those guys are OLD.
I personally just call it really good rock and roll (and I'm NOT a fan of a lot of ZZ Top).
