From the game vs Dook 2 years ago when Gerald Henderson's elbow found Tyler's face and broke his nose. Tyler stormed off to the locker room with blood gushing all down the front of his jersey. The crowd was going nuts. Back in the days when I was a student, we were playing Dook and Eric Montross got an elbow to the head and was gushing blood too, so when this happened with Tyler everyone was talking about that classic Montross game.

Tyler's frequently the victim of some pretty hard fouls. Not all intentional though. Although Maryland's Dino Gregory hit him pretty hard in last week's game.

I can vouch that basketball does get a lot rougher than people think under the boards! I took and threw many such elbows myself!

I trust you. I think I get it. Kind of how those of us in Iowa who are not Hawkeye fans call them the Squawks?

And us not loyal to Iowa State call them Cyclowns. Sorry Ban the Panthers have yet too garner a new name. At least not one I'm aware of.

No, but I could maybe think of one. In Minnesota, we called the Timberwolves the Timberpuppies when they were playing poorly.

Exactly. It's also poking fun at them because sometimes they get on a high & mighty kick and pronounce it "Dyuke" trying to sound all fancy.

I hate them. (disclaimer -- I don't hate their wrestling program in the slightest)
