Thread: Worst offseason ever?

    Default Worst offseason ever?

Maybe not, but we still have a couple of months left. First Torre's book, and A-fraud, and now a failed roid test in 2003 for Rodriguez. Ouch!

Wow, a whole generation of the 'best' players may not make the Hall of Fame.
I am 49, bald, ugly, and don't own a single cool thing. Kids like me though.

I doubt it, the more guns that get named, the more likely Bonds and McQuire get in.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Every time another name gets out, I wonder if my man Griffey Jr. is next? I doubt it, but you never know. Of course, if he is clean, it makes his numbers look even better.

Well, he fessed up today, admitting to using for 3 years in Texas. Baseball
(with more than a little help from the players' union) has really brought this s--tstorm upon themselves. They should have started testing at least a decade before they did, and this whole mess would have been avoided. They let the disease fester, and turned a blind eye. I'm kinda with you, rick. I keep hoping my man Pujols has been clean, but honestly, they only two guys who I would be surprised to find out were others of the 104 caught in '03 would be Maddux and Ichiro. No one else would surprise me even a little.

?They are looking in the wrong places,? Canseco said in a text message to The Associated Press. ?This is a 25-year cover-up. The true criminals are Gene Orza, (union head) Donald Fehr and (commissioner) Bud (Selig). Investigate them, and you will have all the answers.?
