The past 4 days I've been plagued with unbearable shin splints. Haven't been able to run since Saturday, let alone walk without much pain. I had to run the treadmill last week due to Cleveland weather, and I think that's what's causing it. Which, doesn't make much sense from what I've read. I thought you get shin splints from running on hard places or not being in shape.... Anyways it's a mystery to me, and I'm starting to panic. Go time is just over a month away!! Steve Jr. got any advice for this aspiring Boston qualifier?? It's really gotten me down the last few days. Any suggestions would be awesome.
