Got the long awaited two hour Season 5 premier coming up tonight.

I know we've got quite a few people here who are fans of the show so I figured I'd get a thread going that we can use through out the season.

I hear that if I haven't seen previous seasons, it will be pretty much impossible to know wtf is going on if I try to watch it now. Would you say that this is an accurate statement?

Yeah, you'd probably be hardpressed to know what was going on if you've missed the past 4 seasons.

Even if you saw the first 4 seasons it's pretty much impossible to know wtf is going on.

I watched all 4 seasns, but I need a refresher course.

This recap show is helping. It's even harder to remember since there is such a long break between seasons. I have all the DVDs and I meant to start scanning through them a couple months ago but I never got around to it.

    Well, my head is spinning...

    - Solid opener when we learn that Faraday was on the island before and that he was involved in actually building the Orchid.

    - Sawyer and Juliet look like thy're going to shape up to be a solid leadership team. Solid one liners from both too.

    - Locke coming to save the day at the end of the second episode was stellar although slightly expected.

    - Sayid killing people is always awesome.

    - I thought Jorge Garcia killed the scene where he explained their lie to his mom and I thought Josh Holloway did a great job with the scene where he finally broke and screamed at Faraday that he knew what he couldn't change.

    - Enjoyed Ben acknowledging the fact that he isn't particularly easy to trust.

    - Also enjoyed Ana Lucia's brief return appearance to give some advice to Hurley. Hurley wound up taking Sayid's advice "don't trust Ben" over her's "don't get caught"

    - Ben has 70 hours.

    God I love this show
