    Default Good News!!!!

I just got my test results back from my three-month check up. PSA is <0.1 I am, at least at this time, cancer-free.

Bad News. My big black male Cyrano (pictured below in one of his more dignified moments) has bone cancer. It is not going to be treatable. We will make him comfortable for as long as possible (probably not very long, considering how fast the tumor is growing) and then deal with our own pain, instead of his.
Bone cancer is a problem for greyhounds who have been on the track. It is almost always the right front leg (as it is in my beautiful guy). I think it is from the stress of making the left turns around the track - placing a lot of stress on the right front leg.

The good news far outweighs the bad. Congratulations and wishing you many more healthy years to spend with your dogs (and family).

Hey MR that is really fantastic! You must really feel great about yourself now! It is unfortunate about your dog though, sorry about that.

You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.
