    The problem is that the site's avatar system cannot shrink down and keep the image active (and its far too large to display in full size.) To explain further, the image is moving (flag waving) and cannot be shrunk and hosted on the server while keeping the same properties.

    I liked the ability to freely switch avatars that existed on the other version. Here I can't even find where to load an avatar. Simple is good. Improvements can become far too complicated.

    I still can't find it. Just above the Edit Profile Picture link is the Edit Options link, which doesn't seem to have a place to add an avatar. Am I missing something right in front of my nose?
