Rex Grossman in favor of Griese

Matt Leinart in favor of Warner

and when do we see JaMarcus Russell?

    IMO.

Grossman needs to be benched and Leinart even though he starts is on a very short leash. Warner should sart if Matt has another poor performance.

Do the raiders play Russell before week 8. No, unless they are using Andrew Wolter as there QB. I think you see Russell unless Dante and Josh heal up quick.

Though it will break my 5 year old nephew's heart (he loves Rex because it is easy to spell his name), it's time to sit Rex down. Griese cannot throw some of the electrifying touchdown passes that Rex throws; but at the same time, he (usually) doesn't throw the terrifying interceptions that that Rex throws. Competence is all we need.

Of course, right now, the Bears have lost FIVE defensive starters to injury. What we need is a medic.

I don't know that Russell is in good enough shape yet to play. He missed a lot of practice time.

I'm a lifelong Broncos fan. If the Bears fans think starting Greise is the answer think again. He is just as awful as Rex is. He's the master of the 3 yard completion after he gets you into 3rd and 12. His rating will be decent, because he never throws the ball down field and would rather take sacks then throw the ball away. I'd recommend either running the option or just punting on first down.

UGH. Running the ball would be fine if we still had Thomas Jones, but noooooooo, we had to get rid of the always hard-working Jones because Cedric Benson threw a hissy fit.

So, does Kyle Orton get another shot?

I think Rex is doing a fine job. Maybe they can trade Rex for Drew Brees.
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

I have Drew in another league, but he has been horrible this year. I would take Rex over him anytime, but I would rather have neither of them.

The Bears are certainly in a pickle. I say bench Grossman now because he has clearly lost confidence in himself (evidence: performance in games, and press conf. after last game).

I like Warner, but one poor game does not lose Leinert the starting spot.

Russell comes in only if the other QBs are not doing the job. I think McKown has done well but may be hurt. I don't know what happened last weekend but they scored like 26 pts and won so some QB other than Russell must have been doing something well (unless those were defensive pts).
