Yes, we differ completely on this issue. I am truly glad for your successes and wish you the best, but I still put my faith in mainstream medicine when it comes to the best treatment regimens, and mainstream science when evaluating things like global warming. Maybe I'm a little too naive and you're a little too cynical.

I'm not an FDA shill, but you need to show more than what you've shown to back up this statement. If you wouldn't listen to 99% then it's a completely corrupt and illegitimate organization.

I wouldn't call myself cynical just a realist. I know what I am up against when I deal with these cats. It is about MARKET SHARE with these companies NOT health.
Btw I didn't mention Global Warming so I don't know where that came from. I was behind all that stuff until I went behind the scenes & saw that the numbers were being fudged by people who want to make A LOT of money selling CARBON CREDITS.
And here you said it yourself: the best treatment regimens
What you are looking at is a model that TREATS disease as something that IS managed NOT CURED. This way you always have a customer. The treatments are plans that never end. You are on a PILL the rest of your life in most cases.
As far as mainstream science goes I do not know what you define that as but if you look at my 1000th post thread/blog you will see studies done by the Universities of Maryland & Colorado testing out a form of Inositol called IP6, as a cancer treatment & it shows an INCREDIBLE efficacy in eliminating malignancies. You will see studies done in the 1980s on Cesium Chloride. The same with DCA in tests done at the University of Alberta.
And they can't get any funding to do more research. WHY? Because these substances cannot be patented & make BILLIONS. The funding groups are not GOVERNMENTAL. They are PRIVATE big pharma conglomerates who will only give grants to research that will give them a patentable substance regardless of the efficacy.
(And btw almost all donos done to fight cancer, goes to pharmaceutical research. None of the money ever goes to patients who need it more. This is why I support Adam Frey's Foundation because NOT A PENNY goes to research. It all goes to the cancer patients.)
That demonstrates a model that isn't interested in finding cures as they are making a profit. There are 3 things I stated, that could be curing people's cancer RIGHT NOW but people are dying or they are fighting for their lives, like me, for no reason other then SELFISHNESS.
So if I can help someone get healthier just by helping them change their diet you bet I will. The endless stream of corporate processed food has made us the most wasteful & unhealthy country on the planet. You don't need to wait for some medical journal to come out with a paper 15 years from now that will tell you that maybe I was right in what I say. People can take their health into their own hands RIGHT NOW & take responsibility for themselves as obviously deferring to the AMA as HIGH PRIESTS hasn't worked out so well for many people.

You can do a search on all my posts or read my thread 1000th POST. A lot is in there. I have no idea how much it would take to convince you which really isn't what I am about. The ONLY person who ever changes your mind, is you. If you are interested really I am sure you would start doing your own research. Here's a start:
The Revolving Doors of the FDA
or this

This should explain why you should eat ORGANIC...and when you consider the Monsanto & FDA revolving door you realize why the public was never informed by the FDA about the dangers of Monsanto's product line.

A guy named Carl Lewis said his best increase in his performance occurred when he became vegan. Different sport, but same concepts apply. I strongly suggest you Google Dr. McDougall and Carl Lewis, very interesting stuff. Regarding restaurants, Thai is the best option. Mexican is good; order a veggie burrito. I skip the sour cream and cheese, but one step at a time. Good luck.

1996 Olympic Gold Medalist in the Decathlon Dan O'Brien consumes lots of Blue Green Algae. He attributes it as something that gave him an competitive edge. I started eating this product in 1993 myself.

Contracted it thru a virus. No diet would have stopped it. Now I am on a vaccine regiment designed to get rid of it for good.
