In the museum at Lambeau Field they have a helmet from every NFL team on display. I thought that was pretty cool when I saw it.

One thing that caught my attention is that in college, teams with a history and tradition of winning usually don't change their uniforms or helmets, while schools who have had little to no success on the national scale tend to change up more often.

For example, Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Penn State, Wisconsin, Iowa, LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and UCLA have had very little if any change in their helmets or uniforms in general in the last 30+ years aside from face mask color, or slight color or font adjustments.

Meanwhile, Baylor, UNC, Duke, Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Arizona State, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa State, Indiana, Northwestern, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Mississippi, Mississippi State and Kentucky among others seem to change every few years or in the case of Oregon, every game or two.

I've got a picture of my grandpa in his high school uniform. Leather helmet, long sleave jersey, and it looks like cotton quilting for thigh pads.

Back when everyone played both offense and defense.
