I bumped into Amy Winehouse perusing the Tube. She has quite a unique sound, but easy listening while you're working.

She's a fabulous singer; that cd is my favorite of the year, if not one of my favorites of all time. I hope that we get to hear more from her, but she seems more focused on her addictions than her music.
The lyrics to some of her songs don't intrigue me a bit, but if you tune out the music and and the words, her voice is absolutely silky smooth and totally unique.
She's a Brit too. It amazes me how they sing American, but have the gawky accent when the speak.
I'd really like to hear her hooked up with some New Orleans muscians and good lyrics.
Add she's hot.
Wow, I couldn't disagree with you any more on the lyrics. The line "what kind of f***ery is this?" from Me and Mr. Jones might be one my favorite lyrics of all time. I also love the song F*** Me Pumps. It's not from Back to Black, but I LOVE it.
And to me, the English accent is much prettier than the American accent. She doesn't speak cockney, so it's not really gawky at all.
The beehive is a little out of style though...

I'm with bluestater on this one.
I can't say there's much about the current CD that I don't like. Good call on that line from me and mr jones. Great line.
