Re: Amy Winehouse She's a fabulous singer; that cd is my favorite of the year, if not one of my favorites of all time. I hope that we get to hear more from her, but she seems more focused on her addictions than her music.
Re: Amy Winehouse The lyrics to some of her songs don't intrigue me a bit, but if you tune out the music and and the words, her voice is absolutely silky smooth and totally unique.
She's a Brit too. It amazes me how they sing American, but have the gawky accent when the speak.
I'd really like to hear her hooked up with some New Orleans muscians and good lyrics.
