    Default Vick makes me sick

Michael Vick finally admitted his role in the Dog fighting scandal-no news there -the real news is he himself killed underperforming dogs -rather than give them away he would hang, electrocute , shoot and in one instance picked up a dog and repeatedly slammed it onto the ground breaking the dog's neck and back .
Vick is pleading guilty and is supposed to receive a suspended sentence . This is a sick SOB and I wish only the very worst for this scumbag - not just losing his money -I hope far worse things for this CREATURE.
Something along the lines of throwing him into a pit of Gators ,of course , I would have the decency to give the man a baseball bat .

I obviously don't condone his actions, but before you go off the deep end hoping the guy dies, here are four cases of rape I quickly found that carried a penalty far less than what Vick is serving:

A HORRIBLE RAPE, BUT JUST MONTHS IN JAIL PLEA SPARES GIRL FROM FACING ATTACKER IN COURTFaced with a St. Paul man who plied a 13-year-old girl with pot and booze and raped her after she passed out, the judge shook his head and sighed, then he imposed a six-month jail sentence. "I'd love to see this guy go to trial on these counts and let a jury send a message," Judge Michael DeCourcy said Wednesday in Ramsey County District Court. But the ordeal for the victim in having to face her assailant and testify at trial would have been too great, he...

Heck, this week we had a HS teacher / athletic trainer plead guilty to intentionally touching 5 young athletes in the groin while massaging their inner thighs. They only gave him probation, no requirement to report under Megan's Law and only suspended his teaching certificate and trainers certificate, for up to 5 years. It wasn't even a full 5 year suspension.

The parents around these parts a livid over the plea bargain. The parents of the girls are absolutely idiots as they agreed to the plea with one stating "We didn't want him to do it anyone else." Well if you don't want him to do it again, why the heck did you agree to a suspended certificate verse revoking it. Idiots.

Judges have the authority to throw these plea bargains in the frigging trash where they belong . Most people do not understand that a plea bargain is NOTHING until a judge signs off on it .

Hey. it could have been Rats or Fish or any other form of animal life, but maybe because it's Dogs and Dog lovers are overly protective, or perhaps it's because it's Vick himself that people are REALLY concerned. Don't know and don't care. As Schlottke and RYou have pointed out, some rapist and molesters gotten off easier. What ever the case my be, he has paid his dues and is labeled for life.

We need to build more prisons, to make plenty of room for all of these D-bags. No need to talk about which crime is worse, just throw them all behind bars. F them if they can't behave like the rest of society.

He's not done paying his dues yet. He has a few more months to go before he goes back to the NFl and re-establishes his position as the most overrated QB in the NFL.

Let's show some perspecitve here. No question what Vick did was very, very wrong. However, other criminals with less notoriety and less "exotic" crimes have done much worse things. I would consider murder, rape, violent assaults, and some other crimes done to human beings far more evil than killing a dog.

Also, let's keep in mind that killing animals is generally legal in our society. Anyone (as far as I know) can take their dog in to the vet's to get killed.
