I remember when she used to be hot...

And from what I saw of it she looked pathetic up there. She's lost all stage presence.

1993 was the last good VMA.

For 1992 and 1993 were two of the best years in discovering music for my budding musical tastes.

    Memories from 1992:
Metallica and Ice-T presenting an award and Ice dropping the "Cop Killer" line from his controversional Body Count album.
    Howard Stern as Fartman.
Nirvana freaking out exec's by playing the opening riffs to "rape me" before playing "Lithium"
Dana Carvey (as Garth Algar) playing drums during U2's "Even Better than the Real Thing" via satellite.
Weird Al Yankovic was nominated for his "Smells like Nirvana" parody.

    Highlights from 1993
Neil Young and Pearl Jam ... PJ just finished up with Animal and here come's Neil Young, they throw him a guitar and just rock out with "Rockin' in the Free World"

Every VMA since, has sucked. Why? No more "video" awards. Why? No more videos.

    And Fall Out Boy sucks.

Her performance was terrible, she could not keep up with the recording of the song... watched it again online this morning just to laugh...
Champions are made while no one is watching.
