    Default Election Day...

A vote is a salute to the little guy. Today my wife will vote for the first time in her life. She is excited.

    Voting rocks!
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

We have a teacher workday today at school. It's been neat the last week or so watching all the students who are registered to vote talking about how excited they are to go vote. A bunch of them were planning to get into a big group and go together today.

I think Election Day should be a federal holiday... there was an hour long time @ 7 a.m. this morning when the polls opened and I heard it's only getting worse by the hour. So, I may be spending my night in line waiting to vote. :-/

I voted already this morning. Polling place is two minutes from my house and about 3 minutes from work.

Its not fair that some places have long lines and others never have a line. I have voting boths within walking distance in any direction and had no line this morning.

I drove to the polling place @ 7:10 a.m. this morning (1 mile from my house)... was told that it would be about an hour, which I unfortunately did not have. So, tonight will have to do...
