    Default Range Radio

I'm NOT a country music fan (really Im not) but when I was in Jackson Wyo. last summer I ran across this station. ttp://www.1037therange.com/

The difference in this station and other country stations, is the format which tends more to Western than Country.

Whats the difference you ask? More old time cowboy songs. More ballads. Less contemporary country.

    Give it a try, pardner!

    Tell me what you think.

Thanks for that link! I'm listening to it right now, and really enjoying it. I love old country music, and this station seems to play a lot more than just the obvious hits. I'm hearing stuff I've heard before, and stuff I haven't heard for years.

Its hard to beat Hank Williams and some of those old Country Swing bands.

You bet! Actually, the more I listened to it, the more I liked it. While there is a lot of cowboy music and Texas swing-type stuff, there is also a good selection of other genres like "regular" (but good) country, Americana and alt-country. Nice find!
