Default SearchPerks, Microsoft's latest attempt to dethrone Google.

An interesting move by Microsoft. They give you "tickets" for the # of searches you do each day. You can accumulate up to 25 tickets each day, so you won't get anything cool very fast, but people that stick with MSN's search engine for months straight can earn prizes like these.

This could backfire pretty badly if people simply search to reach their daily quota and never actually visit any of their advertisers.. or... it could be a huge success and force Google into doing something similar to maintain their market share.

    Check it out:

As with most M$ projects, if you don't use IE, you'll have to switch to that, too, or be left out.

What do you think happens here?

Interesting, I'll give a go. The deal expires April 09.

Didn't like my .net email address though and had to set up a hotmail version.

Haven't figured out where to see my search count is located though.

Hey live search is pretty slick for videos.

Search a performer and click video. You get a gazillion hits. Then just move the curser over the viseo and it starts up in a thumbnail version. Click on it, gets much larger.
