I can only imagine what my dog would do if I left for 14 months! He already stops eating for a couple days when I leave for a weekend.
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

Thanks Stardust! If people were more like dogs the World would be a much better place.

My little Ginny would probably give me an over-the-top greeting. Tic Tac (Captain Oblivious) would probably sniff me and then go sit by his food bowl...

Not to steal the thunder of this thread (I'm a cat person anyway!), but it reminded me of this one.

If I hadn't been so strictly raised to be a tough, macho man who can't cry, I'd cry when I watch this video.

    Those video's are wonderful.

As a kid I never really had those kinds of reactions when my dad came back. It was more like; a couple of days getting used to a new situation, and then it was like the seperation never happened.... even if the seperation was for a year. It is sort of weird, those seperated months in my life are vague, and the only ones I remember in detail are the ones with a family unit.

That is sort of scary when I think of Reni and her long term reactions.
