PJ you watching my Chargers dismantle the defending AFC champs, or the Dodgers humiliate the Phills?

Just got done watching the phillies game. Not surprising as it was a must win game at home for the dodgers. Should be a good game tomorrow as the phillies have struggled against lowe although they nipped him game one.

The big three phillies hitters need to get it together especially if they expect to beat the AL representative.

I don't follow baseball so I don't have much insight, but from what I've read today and heard during the brief period where i had the game on, Neither team has done anything special, other than to hold serve on their home field. The experts expect Los Angeles to even the series tomorrow night. So much for the commanding lead Philly enjoyed.

Well if both teams hold serve and win at home that means philly will be representing the NL in the world series.

There you go again with that "if" word that you like to throw around in order to make a point where there isn't one. We don't know what will happen over the course of the rest of the series, we know what has happened and thus far, nothing more than hold serve. What if Los Angeles wins the next 7 games in a row? Don't answer that, I could care less if they lose the next 10 in a row, just hoping to show you the infinite number of "ifs" we can bring into this discussion.

I was just using your logic against you. You are talking about neither team doing much besides winning at home. Since philly has more home games that obviously works in their favor.
But regardless philly is winning the series so far so ill take it.

Yes PJ, we understand that "if" each team only wins at home, the team with the most home games will advance. However, should one team win on the road, they then seize control of the series. To this point none of that has happened and thus, nothing more than holding serve has been achieved.

As I noted on the other blog, I can understand your enthusiasm over merely holding serve, given the struggles of your sports teams over the course of your entire lifetime and beyond. I just didn't want you to get too excited over nothing more than having held serve over the first 2 games. But by all means, enjoy it while it lasts.

Haha holding serve is exactly what you hope to do as the home team. Its a great reason to be enthusiastic. Hold serve equals winning series.

How does this series work, by the way? Is it 2-3-2 or 2-2-1-1-1?
