A few weeks ago, I posted something about Middletown (Ohio) HS, where, after the failure of a school levy, decided it would have to charge students fees to participate in extra-curriculars, ranging from less than $100 for some clubs, up to $900 per student for football.

The Cincinnati CBS affiliate is reporting that less than 10% of the students expected to go out for football have paid the $900. The deadline is tomorrow. The district is saying the football season may have to be forfeited if more students don't come up with the bucks.

Very very sad.
